Greetings from UW Oshkosh

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh wishes you a happy holiday season! This year, we broke from tradition by sending our greeting digitally. The funds typically used to print our annual holiday greeting are being redirected to support student work in the area of sustainability.

Five students will be working on a campus transportation plan, revamping the sustainability Web site, developing programming for residence hall students, conducting best practices research and collecting data. Thanks to the student support, sustainability efforts on the UW Oshkosh campus will be able to move forward more quickly.

In addition to the dollars from the holiday card, the student salaries are supported by funds from the Student Titan Employment Program (STEP). The program maximizes the educational experience of students by allowing them to engage in educationally purposeful activities and to interact with faculty, academic and classified staff, and peers in substantive ways as student workers.
