The theme for this year's annual event is Social and Economic Inequality and Poverty.The keynote speaker is Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, one of the nation’s most influential and renowned public intellectuals. He has been named one of the 150 most powerful African Americans by Ebony magazine. Dr. Dyson is scheduled to provide a series of activities for the day ending in his keynote speech on Social and Economic Inequality/Poverty and its multiple impact on individuals and communities.
