Student research and project assistant 

In observance of the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, the History Department and University Archives are collaborating on the creation of an informational webpage that will tell the story of Earth Day 1970 at UWO.

We are hiring a student research and project assistant for this job. The pay is $7.25/hour for approximately 40-50 hours of labor. Earth Day is April 22, so we need to initiate work on this project very soon.

Research Assistant:

Professor Kapelusz-Poppi seeks a student able to organize a collection of primary sources from Argentina.  These include digital pictures that need to be labeled and indexed as well as photocopies that need to be scanned and classified.  Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Spanish is a must.

Pay is $7.25/hour for 5-6 hrs/wk. between February 20 and May 7.  To apply, please email Professor Kapelusz-Poppi at kapelusz@uwosh.edu

Research Assistant:

Professor Rivers would like a student assistant to help collect sources and compile a bibliography about aspects of religious reform and meditation in fifteenth-century Europe, particularly about the Devotio moderna, the Carthusian order, and the Benedictine reform movement. The assistant should have strong research skills and a background in history (preferably European medieval). Language skills in French, German, or Latin a plus. [This position has been filled].

Research Assistant: 

Professors James Frey and Jim Feldman seek a student with advanced research skills to find, collect, and annotate primary source readings [in English or English translation] dealing with environmental perceptions and environmental change in various parts of the world over the broad sweep of world history.
