Director, Black Thursday Oral History Project
Research Interests: Modern American wit and satire; post-war American intellectual and cultural life; the history of American advertising. Dr. Kercher is currently working on a history of the United States during the mid 1970s and directing the Black Thursday Oral History Project, funded by the Wisconsin Humanities Council.
