Six, 90-minute panel sessions will discuss several subjects related to how the war has impacted American society, politics and families. Topics that will be addressed in the sessions include:
- The role of journalists and photojournalists in covering the war
- The war experience as a source of veteran art and literature
- The war's impact on military spouses and families
- Understanding and treating post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Wartime dissent on the home front
- The war's geopolitical consequences
- U.S. military strategic and operational perspectives
- The soldiers' experience in war
