For Employment & Internships

  • Career Services helps students find jobs and internships that best meet their needs.

For General Assistance Enrolling in Classes & Majors

  • The Undergraduate Advising Resource Center can help with choosing a major, reading a STAR or signing up for classes. Each department has faculty members to assist students with the best advice for their chosen field.

For Improving Specific Intellectual Skills

  • Center for Academic Resources offers free tutoring to UW Oshkosh undergraduates.
  • The Reading Study Center offers courses in study skills, individual assistance to help with academic performance, assistance for text anxiety, workshops to improve learning and the reading lab, as well as workshops and resources to help students prepare for the GRE, the Praxis I and the Praxis II.
  • The Math Lab offers free tutoring for math classes.
  • The Writing Center offers advice and help with writing assignments.
  • Student Support Services provides academic advising, financial aid, personal support, scholarships and much more to students seeking help with anything.
  • The Counseling Center offers personal, private counseling.

For Support of Specific Student Populations

  • The Center for Academic Support and Diversity seeks to improve the recruitment, enrollment, retention and graduation rates at UW Oshkosh. Four units help make this goal possible: the Multicultural Retention Program, Student Support Services, PreCollege Programs and the Multicultural Education Center.
