The Student Health Center is staffed with medical technologists who are ASCP (the American Society for Clinical Pahtology) certified. The lab manager is Paula Hayford (920-424-0218 or hayford@uwosh.edu).
Certification
The Student Health Center lab is accredited by the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments, ensuring that high quality standards are met.

Services
All lab testing requires a medical order from a health care provider. Call 920-424-2424 with questions.
In-House Testing
A wide range of medical lab tests are performed in the Student Health Center. There is a minimal charge for each lab test performed. Results are generally available at the time of your visit.
- Examples of available in-house tests include:
- Urinalysis
- Strep
- Mono
- Pregnancy
- Wet prep for Vaginitis
- Complete Blood Count (CBC)
- Blood Sugar
- Cholesterol or Lipid Panel
- HIV
Reference Lab Testing
The Student Health Center contracts with a reference lab for other testing. Students are charged our cost plus a small handling fee. Results are generally available within 3 to 10 days. Providers will notify you of your lab results.

- Pap tests
- STD tests
- Post vaccination titers
- Thyroid tests
- Metabolic Panels
- Liver Panels
- Drug Testing
