Breast and Testicular Exams
Breast Self-Exams
Most breast lumps are found by women doing their own exams. Do a breast self-exam monthly before your period. If you do not have regular periods, do it on the same day each month.
Most breast lumps are not cancer, but if you find a lump or have nipple discharge, report it to your medical provider.

Testicular Self-Exams
Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young men. You are at highest risk if your testicles did not descend into the scrotum or it they descended after age 6. Young men should preform testicular self-exams monthly, after a warm shower or bath. The most common symptom of testicular cancer is a small, painless lump in a testicle or a slightly enlarged testicle.
