Income guidelines for Head Start program
Categorically eligible families are those who, with proper verifications are: homeless, receiving Supplemental Security Income, Child Care Assistance, Kinship, or where the enrolling child is a foster child.

Income verification
Must be verified 12 months prior to enrollment. Either 12 months of check stubs prior to the date of application or the calendar year prior to the application, which would be W-2 or tax forms. We also need to verify child support, unemployment, SSI, W2 benefits or any other income coming into the home.
