welcome
Dear Readers,
Welcome to my 2007-08 American Council on Education (ACE) Fellowship web site.
The ACE Fellows Program is the nation’s premier, higher education leadership development program, and since 1965, has prepared hundreds of vice presidents, deans, department chairs, faculty and other emerging leaders to serve as presidents and other senior leaders in American colleges and universities. To learn more about the ACE Fellows Program, please visit here.
As a member of the 2007-08 Class of 39 ACE Fellows, I will spend the 2007-08 academic year at Dillard University, a historically black liberal arts institution, in New Orleans, http://www.dillard.edu/, shadowing President Marvalene Hughes, members of the Dillard Cabinet and other key faculty and staff on campus. During my Fellowship year, I will observe and participate in meetings and events at Dillard University, work on special projects for both my home institution (UW Oshkosh) and my host institution (Dillard University), participate in three, week-long national seminars, visit other college and university campuses, participate in national meetings and network with higher education leaders.
On this web site, there will be monthly updates, a quarterly newsletter and photo gallery to keep you up-to-date on my activities during the Fellowship year. Please visit me often!
