Background
Graduate and undergraduate students from all academic disciplines who are enrolled for credit in a UW Oshkosh degree-seeking program are eligible. Projects that could be eligible for exhibition or presentation at Celebration of Scholarship include:
- Clinical, seminar or research papers
- Field projects or reports
- Demonstration, artistic or creative projects
- Theses
- Independent studies
- Scholarly work
Individual or team projects with other students and/or faculty are also welcome.
Some examples of presentation projects include:
- Creative/Artistic Activities
- Exhibition of a work of art
- Presentation of original poems
- Documentary film
- Interpretive dance performance
- Research Projects
- Designing a digital music stand for the symphony musician
- Scientific studies, with experimentation and results reporting
- Study of the retention and transfer of conflict-resolution skills
- Analyzing the effects of urban air pollutants on a limestone structure
- Scholarly Work
- Discussion of social philosophy that addresses the subject of gun control legislation
- Study of peer evaluation in project teams
- Exploration of computer arts as a means of expression in elementary classrooms
- Historical look at the impact of black baseball on American society
You may present your research as an oral presentation or via a poster. Artistic performances and artwork can also be presented.
