Announcing the Registry of Undergraduate Researchers
The Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) has announced its Registry of Undergraduate Researchers. This registry matches undergraduates who have research experience and a desire to pursue advanced degrees with graduate schools seeking high-quality students who are well-prepared for research.
Currently, the registry is open to students and graduate schools/employers in the fields of chemistry, computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics/astronomy, psychology, geology, biology, environmental science, anthropology, economics, geography, political science and sociology.
Please urge undergraduate students who are currently in their junior year to register now. They will be able to update their listing at the end of summer 2005 and during their senior year. The undergraduate registry can be accessed at www.cur.org/ugreg. There is no charge for students. Information will be made available only to bona fide graduate schools that contract with CUR for this service. Organizations seeking student information for marketing purposes will not be granted access. Graduate school representatives may contact students to invite applications or campus visits or to share information about research programs and financial aid.
