UW Oshkosh students who travel to Washington and Madison for research poster sessions do more than illuminate what their research has taught them. They also serve as luminaries who educate leaders about the value of undergraduate research.
UW Oshkosh sophomore Angela Rodriguez will be winging her way to an international eye research meeting this May, having won a prestigious travel grant to present her vision research project.
Imagine getting on a plane with 200 pounds of rocks in your suitcase. And sending another 600 pounds of rocks home before you get on the plane! It was just part of the job for UW Oshkosh geologist Daniel Lehrmann and UW Oshkosh student David Follett on a December 2004 trip to Japan.
