Global Oshkosh Project: An Interim Intensive

January 6-8, 2015 | 12:30-4:30 p.m. each day

Modeled on the Winnebago Sustainability Project, the Global Oshkosh Project will explore specific course and assignment design ideas as well as practical teaching and assessment strategies.

This Interim Intensive is centered on the infusion of global content and perspectives in new or existing course offerings. Each session will provide instructors with specific course and assignment design ideas, drawing on established best practices and featuring members of our own teaching community who incorporate global perspectives in their teaching.

UW Oshkosh has a long tradition of providing opportunities for instructors to share innovative pedagogies based on best practice. Participants will receive $750 stipends upon completion of the lnterim Intensive and a written description of their implementation (e.g. a revised syllabus).

Members of the teaching community from all Colleges and disciplines are encouraged to participate.

Registration is limited to 10 participants to ensure small group discussion, collaboration, and individual attention.
