The Teaching Professor Technology Conference proposals are due March 1st

The cut-off date for submitting a proposal to the 2013 Teaching Professor Technology Conference is approaching fast!
All proposals must be submitted by March 1, 2013.

We are now accepting proposals for The Teaching Professor Technology Conference, to be held October 4-6, 2013 in Atlanta, GA.

This is the first year The Teaching Professor is hosting a conference focused specifically on technology, but for those familiar with our annual Teaching Professor Conference, the format will be very similar. The goal of The Teaching Professor Technology Conference is to provide a thought-provoking and stimulating forum for educators of all disciplines and experience-levels to share practical ideas and best practices for using technology to advance teaching and learning in higher education.

We seek interactive sessions that engage and inform attendees. Submissions should relate to one of the following technology areas; however compelling proposals that fall outside of these designated topics are also welcome:

  • Blended or Flipped Courses
  • Online Learning
  • Technology in Face-to-Face Courses
  • MOOCs
  • Social Media, Mobile Learning and Apps

The conference will feature multiple concurrent sessions that are 30 minutes and 75 minutes in length, including Q&A.

Deadline for entry is March 1, 2013.
