The Ecology of Teaching and Learning: 5/31-6/3/12
The Ecology of Teaching and Learning Conference will bring together new and seasoned SOTL scholars engaged in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL). Engage in thought-provoking discussions, stimulating presentations and hands-on activities, in SOTL workshops, and meet colleagues with similar interests and creative ideas. You are also invited to participate in the introductory pre-institute for scholars and administrators.
D2L ePortfolio Showcase Event: 6/22/12
This one day event is open to all faculty and instructional support staff. Many faculty who are using D2L eP will be sharing their experience and eP plans in this event. The program will also include a couple of roundtables and panel sessions on various eP implementation topics.
2012 ASQ STEM Agenda Conference: July 16-17, 2012
Learn about the latest STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) initiatives, discuss the latest ideas for teaching college science and engineering, and learn from our panel of experts on best practices for co-op experiences. The schedule includes time for networking and the discussion of ideas for improving STEM education. Midwest Culturally Inclusive Conference: September 7-8, 2012
The Midwest Culturally Inclusive Conference is a regional conference for business and community leaders, college students and educators – from K-12 teachers and administrators to postsecondary faculty and staff – who want to strengthen diversity throughout the Midwest and work collaboratively towards resolving issues related to equity, diversity, inclusion, representative leadership and advancing professional development opportunities.
