Faculty Development

TEACHING
Fall Cycle: September 17, 2009 (due in Dean's Office or equivalent); September 21, 2009 (due in Office of Grants and Faculty Development); Notification Date: Week of November 16, 2009. Pre-reading service is available (submit one draft copy of the proposal narrative to the Office of Grants and Faculty Development by August 3, 2009.

2009-10 Cycle: December 1, 2009 (due in Dean's Office or equivalent); December 4, 2009 (due in Office of Grants and Faculty Development); Notification Date: Week of March 29, 2010. Pre-reading service is available (submit one draft copy of the proposal narrative to the Office of Grants and Faculty Development anytime until October 30, 2009.

RESEARCH
2009-10 Cycle: December 1, 2009 (due in Dean's Office or equivalent); December 4, 2009 (due in Office of Grants and Faculty Development); Notification Date: Week of March 29, 2010. FACULTY SABBATICAL
Sabbatical proposals (for the following academic year) are due to the Dean's Office September 11, 2009.

Center for Scholarly Teaching - Upcoming Deadlines

• SoTL Mentor Program - applications due September 28, 2009
• SoTL Starter Grants - applications due October 5, 2009
• Reminder - SoTL research is eligible for the Faculty Development Research Component. Please see those deadlines above.
• Provost's Teaching and Learning Summit, Oct. 26-30, 2009. Registration is required.

Celebration of Scholarship

Next year's UW Oshkosh Celebration of Scholarship will take place on April 29, 2010.

Student/Faculty Collaborative Research Programs

Proposals for the Student/Faculty Collaborative Research programs are due February 9, 2010. For more information, go to www.uwosh.edu/studentresearch.

Oshkosh Scholar

The submission deadline for the 2010 issue of Oshkosh Scholar is June 1, 2010. Articles submitted after that date will be considered for future issues.
