International Student Nonresident Partial Tuition Waiver
The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is pleased to offer the Nonresident Partial Tuition Waiver to eligible international students. This is a need-based financial award.
Amount: $10,600 (approximate for AY 2008-2009)
This amount varies from year to year based on changes in tuition. All awards
are subject to funding availability from the state of WI. Awards are
made on either a semester or academic year basis. Waivers are not available
for completing a second graduate degree or certificate at UW Oshkosh.
This award is available only to international students.
Eligibility requirements:
- Admitted in full-standing to a graduate degree or certificate program.
- Continuous, full-time enrollment each spring and fall semester.
- Financial need is the primary consideration for receiving a waiver.
The award is automatically renewable unless funding is no longer available or student fails to meet any academic or administrative requirements as applicable. Student must submit a reapplication each academic year.
Application process:
- Complete an application form with your submission of the Confidential Declaration of Financial Resources along with your admission application and materials to the Office of Graduate Studies. The application form is also available in the Graduate Studies office.
- The application must describe in detail the specific financial circumstances that demonstrate your financial need for the award.
