Important Financial Aid Information

Because of the number and complexity of financial aid programs only basic descriptions are provided here. Eligibility for certain types of financial aid require that an applicant is admitted to a master's degree program.

Please note, guidelines for administering financial aid programs are subject to change as the result of legislative or regulatory action by the federal and state agencies responsible for the direction of the programs.

The awarding of financial aid depends upon both a student's eligibility and the availability of funds. If funds are exhausted, eligibility is not applicable. Note that generally financial aid is not available for certificate programs and graduate special students. Contact the UW Oshkosh Financial Aid office for more information. As financial aid funds are often insufficient to meet the need, the importance of early application cannot be overemphasized.

For further information contact the Financial Aid Office, 104 Dempsey Hall, telephone (920) 424-3377.
