Graduate Student Employment
More than 250 graduate students and alumni are employed at UW Oshkosh each year. Whether as graduate assistants, classified staff, academic staff or even faculty, our graduate students and alumni are well-represented employees on the UW Oshkosh campus.
Employment Outlook
In an attempt to help students understand economic trends and become aware of what types of positions are available to our graduates, we created the Employment Outlook webpage. This explains opportunities specific to each of our graduate degree fields.
Graduate Assistantships
Graduate Assistantships are work-based financial support awards. Graduate assistants work in their academic field or in a closely related area. Functions include laboratory assistance, research, tutoring, proctoring, and other academic-oriented work.
To apply online, please visit the Graduate Assistant website.
Please note, some departments will require additional application materials. If you're interested in working in a specific department, please feel free to contact them directly. Campus offices who regularly hire Graduate Assistants include:

Student Assistantships
Student assistantships are very similar to graduate assistantships. While graduate assistantships are positions held within the academic departments, student assistantships are in non-academic departments. For some student assistantships, the graduate assistantship application is accepted for employment. For all positions, please contact the areas directly for more information.
TitanJobs
TitanJobs is an online recruiting and job database for students, faculty, staff, alumni and employers. Accounts are created for all incoming undergraduate students upon
completion of Odyssey. Graduate students and alumni who wish to obtain
an account need to contact Career Services.
