An overview of the cultural landscapes which have shaped the United States. Particular emphasis will be placed upon the contributions of Native Americans and a variety of ethnic minority populations, examining the spatial distributions of these groups and their unique traditions in shaping their landscapes and contrasting their landscapes with that of the Anglo-Saxon majority. 316/516


One of the following courses: Geography 102, Geography 111, History 201, History 202. Fulfills Ethnic Studies requirement.
