Course Description

This course examines advanced concepts and techniques of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Topics include introductory level algorithm development, applications survey and readings, and advanced spatial analysis. Students are expected to develop individual, problem-driven projects which incorporate the knowledge, tools, and techniques that are developed in this course. 472/672 (3+2)

Course Prerequisites
Geography 471 or 671 with a grade of C or better or consent of instructor.
