Theory and application of instrumentation to chemical analysis. Topics covered include electronics, classical spectroscopic methods, and electrochemical techniques.  Laboratory to stress instrumental determination of physical constants, methods comparison and quantitative determination of system species using the above. (2+3).


Chemistry 221 and Chemistry 370. Credit may not be obtained in both Chemistry 320 and 421/621.
