ENGLISH 702: Language in Society: Optional Content

An advanced course in Sociolinguistics concentrating on phenomena such as global languages, language shift, and language death, or bilingualism, bi-dialectualism and identity.  Optional content.  With different subtitles and the signature of the department chair, it may be taken twice.


Admission to UW Oshkosh Master of Arts in English program or consent of the MA Director.
