An introduction to finite dimensional vector spaces, linear transformations, matrices and determinants (with applications to systems of linear equations) and characteristic values and characteristic vectors. Additional topics may include advanced work involving characteristic values and characteristic vectors, Jordan canonical form, inner products and quadratic forms. 346/546


Mathematics 256 with a grade of “C” or above.
