Course Description

An introduction to the arachnid orders with emphasis on spiders, harvestmen, scorpions and solfugids. Morphology, classification, ecology and collecting techniques will be emphasized. A collection of spiders and harvest-men is required. Strongly recommended: Biology 230. 353/553 (1+4)
