Classification, biochemistry, physiology and ecology of fresh water algae. Emphasis on the roles algae play in aquatic ecosystems, applications in environmental monitoring, aquaculture and experimental systems for basic research in photosynthesis. 336/536. (2+2)(Fall, even years)

Course Prerequisites
Biology 231, 233 or 309.
