As companies increasingly rely on widely distributed computing architectures and increasingly use multimedia, the IT infrastructure becomes both more complex and important to the success of businesses. The purpose of this course is to provide students with skills and understanding of how to manage a firm's entire IT infrastructure, including local and wide area networks; network topologies; application architectures; network operating systems; computer and information security; standards; and emerging technologies. This course will focus on current state-of-the-art technologies used by businesses, but also will provide students with an appreciation of how these technologies can be integrated with legacy systems and technologies


The completion of all foundation requirements.
