BUS 766: Project Portfolio Management

1.5

This course focuses on managing a multiproject environment at both the strategic and tactical levels. Strategic-level, multiproject management includes issues, such as project selection/prioritization, project portfolio management, resource allocation and project sequencing. Tactical-level multiproject management includes issues associated with individual project managers and their efforts to manage multiple projects via time management, schedule and resource integration and project prioritization. Because of the management-level orientation of the course, the final week of the class will be devoted to educating/selling senior managers on the value and benefits of project management tools and methodologies for their organization.

Business 758 and the completion of all foundation requirements.
