BUS 710: Foundations of Information Systems

Introduction to computer information systems and the use of computer systems in organizations. The course includes the description and use of computer hardware and software. Focus of the course is on the development, management and use of management information systems from the user’s viewpoint. Prerequisite: Computer literacy (knowledge and ability to use Windows operating system, word processing, spread sheet, database management systems and presentation packages).
