Graduate Program Requirements and Deadlines

In addition to admission to graduate studies as the University, most of UW Oshkosh’s graduate programs have their own admission requirements. Be sure to check for these requirements below.  It is also recommended you peruse the program's web site or talk with the program coordinator to be certain of all admission requirements.

A job description or résumé, statement of professional goals and objectives, and a two-page paper reflecting addressing the following topic (for spring 2012 applicants): public administration as a threat to or enhancement of liberty, efficiency and equality.

Beginning summer 2012, the paper topic for applicants will be:  The National Association of Public Administration (NAPA) has identified four pillars of public administration - economy, efficiency, effectiveness, and social equity.  Please submit a two-page paper that explains why they are all equally critical to the successful practice of public administration today.
