Admissions Process for Domestic Students
Students interested in pursuing graduate school at UW Oshkosh should review the following information:

The first step in the application process is to complete the online UW System application for admission to UW Oshkosh. A $56 non-refundable application fee is required and cannot be waived.

References
When completing the electronic application, be certain to identify three references (relatives are not acceptable academic/ professional references) who can assess the ability of the applicant to do graduate work. Be sure to:

Consult with the specific program in which you are seeking admission to verify reference requirements.
The Office of Graduate Studies will notify an applicant's references that they are to provide a letter in support of the applicant's admission. Letters also can be sent separately by the references directly to the Office of Graduate Studies. If an applicant submits letters directly to the Office of Graduate Studies, the letters must be in envelopes sealed by the reference(s).
NOTE: Some programs have different reference requirements. Please check the program-specific admission instructions first for specific reference requirements.
Transcripts
Applicants must have all official transcripts sent directly to the Office of Graduate Studies. Copies "issued to student" are not considered official.
NOTE: If an applicant is a current or former UW Oshkosh graduate or undergraduate student, he/she does not need to provide an official UW Oshkosh transcript.
