Study Habits of First-Year Students

What have USP students learned about their learning in the first year of their college journeys?

First-year students at UW Oshksoh reveal that studying in college is different from studying in high school. Test anxiety is high, and expectations about note-taking and D2L content differ from course to course. Many students describe campus resources such as the Reading Study Center and the Writing Center as extremely helpful in this "study habits transition" while others credit Peer Mentors or Quest instructors.
