March 3 — Fall registration begins for seniors
March 5 – 10 — Early Alert grading period
March 11 — Early Alert email sent to students
March 12 — Fall registration begins for juniors
March 19 — Last day to drop at 14 week course and earn a W (withdraw)
March 23 – 30 — Spring break
March 31 — Second seven week courses begin
April 1 — Fall registration begins for sophomores
April 10 — Fall registration begins for freshmen


Just like there is more than one reason why students question their major or career path, there are multiple campus resources available to help students with issues related to academic and career exploration.

The Undergraduate Advising Resource Center (UARC)

    Select a college then a major and get an easy to read printable handout of many related career options.
  • WISCareers (UWO Code = osh-c427)
    Free online assessments, detailed career information, and school search to find graduate schools that offer programs you are considering.
  • OOH: Occupational Outlook Handbook (from the Bureau of Labor Statistics)
    Great resource for up-to-date career information.
  • O*Net: Occupational Information Network
    Contains a skills search activity to help you identify your skills and match them to potential occupations.
