October 27: Elect Her, 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Reeve Union 306

The training covers skills such as how to mobilize a constituency, how to craft a message, and how to speak confidently and present oneself as a candidate. Elect Her addresses the need to expand the pipeline of women candidates and to diminish the longstanding political leadership gender gap. All genders are welcome. Co-Sponsored by Reeve Union, the Women’s Center, AAUW, and Running Start. November 9: University Speaker Series:  Hilary Corna, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Reeve Union Ballroom

Hilary Corna, FMR Senior Executive Officer with Toyota Asia, delivers a one-a-kind, inspirational message that those with a daring mindset will lead the 22nd century. UnSlut: A Documentary Film explores the causes and manifestations of sexual shaming in North America and offers immediate and long-term goals for personal, local, and institutional solutions.
