Gene Drecktrah has a passion for bugs and giving students opportunities to learn. A retired University of Wisconsin Oshkosh professor and current UW Oshkosh Foundation board member, Drecktrah knows the value of scholarships to students.
He proudly began an endowment fund to support a student curator for biology/microbiology's entomology collection and also started a scholarship in his wife's name to support students majoring in special education.
