Endowments
Advancement in student learning and faculty teaching wouldn’t be possible without the support of endowments. The principal of endowed funds is permanently invested, while its earnings fund the annual awards.
Endowed scholarships and awards
Donors establish scholarship endowments with a minimum contribution of $10,000. Additionally, they may play an integral role in determining scholarship criteria to ensure that their intentions are continually honored.
Endowed professorships
Each endowed professorship is funded through a $60,000 contribution by donors who recognize faculty members as important community resources. These awards acknowledge the skill, dedication and achievement of the University's most notable faculty members and are invaluable for recruiting and retaining faculty. Professorship recipients receive support for research projects and professional development during their four-year terms.
