New Academic Building Groundbreaking

Grab Your Shovels
Join members of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh campus community and friends of the University in celebrating the ground breaking for the new academic building at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16.
The ceremony for what will be a new “front door” for the campus will be held at the corner of High and Rockwell avenues. Featured speakers include the vice president of the Oshkosh Student Association, UW Oshkosh Foundation Board of Directors Chair Beth Wyman, Chancellor Richard H. Wells, Gov. Jim Doyle, and William Raaths, co-chair of the Foundation’s capital campaign.
In addition, donors, contributors and friends will be recognized for their support of the building — the University’s first new academic space since 1971.
Parking is available in lot 7 (enter from Pearl Avenue). View campus parking map.
