The pride. purpose. promise. campaign is a comprehensive, $24 million endeavor. Over the five years of this campaign, every gift donated or pledged will be considered part of this campaign - whether the gift is dedicated to capital goals or annual giving.
New Academic Center
The cornerstone of the pride. purpose. promise. campaign is a new $48-million academic center for the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. The building will provide a contemporary home for the College of Business and numerous College of Letters and Science departments. It will feature state-of-the-art classrooms, labs, project rooms and faculty offices. The University-wide impact will relieve crowding and provide opportunities for future renovations to update facilities for the colleges of Nursing and Education and Human Services.
Endowed Scholarship Fund
The heart of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s pride. purpose. promise. campaign lies with a commitment to enhance opportunities for our students. By supporting scholarships, the campaign will make it possible for more students, including those with family responsibilities or who are embarking on second careers, to attain a bachelor’s or master’s degree. An endowed scholarship fund will help us retain our diverse student population, offset tuition costs for students in need, encourage non-traditional students to complete their education and offer students unique learning opportunities.
Collaborative Research Endowment
The spirit of the pride. purpose. promise. campaign is the student-faculty academic relationship. This relationship, distinguished by active learning, mutual respect and collaborative scholarship, is critical to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s vision of engaging people and ideas for the common good. Through establishing a collaborative research endowment, we are ensuring the continuation of a long tradition of attracting the highest quality faculty and students and, in turn, preparing those students to play an active role in changing our world.
Annual Giving
The primary benefactors of the pride. purpose. promise. campaign are the students. The students will receive enhanced academic opportunities in every facet of their University experience thanks in part to annual giving. Important University programs and initiatives depend on annual giving, and without these donations, University of Wisconsin Oshkosh students would have significantly fewer opportunities to advance their education and cultivate their University experience.
