The Goal

The Situation

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is constantly changing with the times – taking advantage of relevant opportunities, developing new programs, responding to unanticipated challenges and improving the overall educational experience. It takes financial resources to do that. Each year UW Oshkosh relies on the generosity of its alumni and friends to provide immediate unrestricted dollars for University strategic priorities and areas of greatest need.

The Impact

Annual giving is a crucial resource for the University. Unrestricted dollars are useful in times of contingency, but also in supporting long-standing academic and campus traditions. Meeting the goal for annual giving will mean that the UW Oshkosh Foundation will be able to provide the following:

• more general scholarships
• support for community building activities including Homecoming, Earth Charter and FallFest
• fund special academic initiatives, including curriculum and program development
• support for athletic programs

The Promise

University of Wisconsin Oshkosh alumni and friends have a long tradition of providing annual giving support. This is a tradition driven by pride - pride in UW Oshkosh, pride in the quality of the educational experience and pride in the extended community of students, alumni, faculty, staff and community partners.
