Special Gifts and Pledges
Giving to the University can be done in a variety of ways:
Pledges
Pledges are gift commitments typically lasting over a three to five-year time period. Few people are in a position to make significant one-time gifts. By carefully planning a multi-year pledge, most individuals can make a gift that is many times larger than any single-year commitment. The pledge installment payment schedule is structured based on the donor’s preferences.
Similar to a cash gift, pledges can be made of the following:
- Accelerated withdrawals from retirement accounts
- Publicly traded securities
- Closely held stock
- Tangible personal property
- Real estate
- Paid-up insurance policies
- Charitable lead trusts
Employee Payroll Deduction
University employees have the option to give with the ease of payroll deduction on a bi-weekly or monthly basis. It’s the simplest and easiest way to give and show your pride in and commitment to the University.
For only ten dollars a month you could give the gift of higher education. Enroll today using our payroll deduction form.
Honorary & Memorial Gifts
An honorary or memorial gift is a thoughtful way to recognize a colleague, classmate, friend or relative.
