Minor Liberal Arts Emphasis

Liberal Arts emphasis 21 credits minimum Recommended for students who are pursuing diverse interests and career goals in fields such as Tourism, Social Work, Human Services, Library Science, International Business, Nursing, Foreign Service, Interpreting, Criminal Justice, Translating, Journalism, Radio-TV

Requirements

  • Completion of core courses (15 credits).
  • 6 additional credits from Spanish upper level courses (300 and above) to meet the minimum requirement.
  • Special Topic courses (360 to 365) may be taken more than once for credit.
  • ONLY ONE course from the Spanish for the professions (Spanish 308, 341, 342, and 343) may be counted toward the major or minor.
