Japanese 360: Contemporary Japanese Culture and Society


This three-credit course aims at learning contemporary Japanese culture and society while, at the same time, improving reading, writing and presentation skills in the Japanese language.  

The class will be offered in a hybrid format (2/3 face-to-face and 1/3 online), meeting twice per week, an hour a day (Monday and Wednesday, 9:10-10:10). For the online sessions, materials are provided through D2L every week.

Prerequisite: Japanese 310, or instructor’s approval

*This course is designed for those who have finished Genki or Nakama textbook. Those who haven't finished either textbook should contact the instructor before registration.
