Welcome to the Japanese Progam at UW Oshkosh!

Welcome in Japanese

Japanese courses at UW Oshkosh are offered through the University of Wisconsin System Collaborative Language Program (CLP).

Japanese is taught in a traditional classroom setting that has been modified for interactive two-way videoconferencing (ITV). Through the use of this technology, the UW Oshkosh instructors work closely with their students at UW Stevens Point and here at UW Oshkosh.

A native-speaking facilitator is in the distance education room during class on the UW Stevens Point campus to help students at the receiving site if questions should arise.  In addition to attending class sessions, facilitators hold regular office hours. The use of facilitators helps ensure the success of our program on receiving.
