Secondary Education Emphasis (Required credits:  21 minimum)

Recommended for students who wish to fulfill requirements leading to Department of Public Instruction licensure for either grades K-12 or 7-12. Required Courses:

In addition to the intermediate-level courses (6 credits), THREE LANGUAGE COURSES from the following: (9 credits)

Education

Education: 13-330 for Elementary Education only. 

 

Additional Requirements

DPI certification in German Secondary and Elementary Education requires a period of language immersion in a German-speaking country. (Consult German coordinator or an instructor for advising.)
