Study Abroad

Students who are planning to study abroad may be eligible for additional financial aid programs. In order to be considered for study abroad financial aid, you must:

  1. Be eligible for federal financial aid
  2. File FAFSA for the academic year during which you are planning to study abroad. Please remember that summer term starts the academic year (for example, summer 2008 will count as the beginning of the 2008-2009 academic year).
  3. Apply for study abroad financial aid with your study abroad application. If you are planning to study abroad during summer term, file summer financial aid application. All study abroad financial aid applications are available on Office of International Education website.
For more information on study abroad financial aid, applications, conditions, and deadlines, see Office of International Education website.
