Perkins Loan
The Federal Perkins Loan program is a need-based loan administered by UW Oshkosh. The loan requires the first time borrowers undergo Entrance Loan Counseling and fill out Perkins Master Promissory Note (MPN). The loan has a 5% fixed interest and can be repaid in up to ten years. Interest does not begin accruing and Perkins Loan does not go into repayment until 9 months after graduation or the student drops below half-time status.

To be considered for the Federal Perkins Loan, students must file the FAFSA.
