Paying Your Bills
After the financial aid has been electronically disbursed to your student account at UW Oshkosh (e.g. after going through application and receiving financial aid processes), the Student Accounts Office deducts all the billed costs from your aid, such as tuition, room and board (if applicable).
Refund Checks
If the amount billed to your account is less than amount of the financial aid for the semester, then the student is issued a "refund check" for the difference. The checks are available for pickup at the Cashier's Office in Dempsey Hall (2nd floor) the week after aid has disbursed. Some aid (for example, Pell Grant) is not disbursed until later in the semester. Therefore, some students may have refund checks available later in the semester. The Cashier's Office will send an e-mail to a student's UW Oshkosh e-mail account when his/her refund check becomes available.

Changes in Enrollment
You may be billed for a portion or all of your financial aid if you drop credit hours or are not at the minimum credit level (6 credits undergrad, 4.5 credits grad) required for aid eligibility. If you are planning to attend part-time (less than 12 credits for undergrad students) or considering dropping a class, it is important to consult with a Financial Aid Office counselor.
Payment Deadlines
Each semester, students receive an e-mail from Student Accounts notifying the student billing information is available on his/her Titan Web account. The bill is due in full by the indicated deadline. If the student is unable to pay the bill in full, he/she can sign up for the partial payment plan.
