Graduate Students

Dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality education, UW Oshkosh offers several options for financing a graduate education. Graduate students that have been accepted for admission into a degree program and are enrolled at least half-time (4.5 credits) at UW Oshkosh are eligible to receive financial assistance through the Financial Aid Office. Available financial assistance includes Federal Work-Study, Federal Perkins Loans and Federal Stafford LoansThe Advance Opportunity Program Grant is available by contacting the Graduate Studies office.

To apply for aid, graduate students must complete the application process, including filing the FAFSA. The awarding of financial aid depends upon the student’s eligibility and the availability of funds. As funding is limited, students are encouraged to apply as early as possible.

Direct Lending is Coming to UW Oshkosh

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is changing its federal student loan process to better serve its students and to ensure continued access to student loan funds.

Starting with the 2010-2011 academic year, all federal student loans will be processed through the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program, also known as Direct Lending.
