Summer Application for Financial Aid

Important Instructions:

Students requesting Financial Aid for Summer 2014 must perform the following steps in order to receive financial aid for summer classes:

  1. File the 2014-2015 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  2. Enroll for summer classes. The minimum number of credits required to be eligible for student loans in summer is 3.5 for undergraduates and 3 for graduates. Your application will be processed based on the number of credits you are enrolled in on the day we review the application.
  3. Check for financial aid 'To Do' items on TitanWeb
  4. Respond to all questions and submit the Summer Financial Aid Application to the Financial aid office by July 12th 2014.

Do not submit this form until steps 1 – 3 are completed.  Please allow 2–3 weeks for processing.

The minimum number of credits required to be eligible for student loans in summer is 3.5 for undergraduates and 3 for graduates.

The amount borrowed for the summer term will be counted as part of your annual maximum for the 2014–2015 school year, and may reduce the amount you receive for fall and spring semesters.

If you answered 'yes' above you will need to fill out a Consortium Agreement in order to receive financial aid for courses being taken at multiple institutions. You must be enrolled at least 3 credits at UW Oshkosh to submit.
